Looks like Kris Keerins may have been released from the Marion County jail today after spending a little over five weeks locked up on a parole violation for Delivery of Heroin. Dumb ass just can’t stay away from the smack.

I hate heroin. Too many talented people have succumbed to the drug. One person that comes to mind who overdosed on a speedball six years ago last month is Layne Staley, lead vocalist of the Seattle grunge band "Alice in Chains."

I found this very touching tribute to Layne Staley on YouTube yesterday that I wanna share with everyone. This particular song is actually sung by the band’s guitarist and co-founder Jerry Cantrell, although Layne comes in toward the end with some powerful vocals.
