Freedom Marchers have an agenda: awareness of wrongful convictions and an end to the archaic practice of putting our nation’s offenders to death.

On October 2, 2010 it is our dream to see every state in the nation filled with the cries of concerned citizens; a unified voice for freedom.

The members of
are organizing a nationwide March for Freedom––and to date, the response has been overwhelming. However, volunteers and coordinators are needed in every state in the nation to make this March for Freedom a success.

Shall we continue to lock away people who could possibly be innocent? Clearly, many of those who are in prison are mothers. How many children are being raised without a parent due to wrongful convictions? Shall we continue to put to death those who may have been wrongfully convicted? Nationwide coverage is needed to bring attention to this injustice. Ask yourself, as a society, are we to stand by, quietly thinking "someone else" will bring awareness to wrongful convictions?

Do your part to effect change for a better America. Volunteer! Don’t let another innocent person’s blood be spilled or years of a life stolen by a justice system that continues to put political agendas above the lives of our nation’s people.

It’s time our nation and its citizens became more informed on the reality of our unjust justice system. Join us for this powerful event! We need March Organizers and volunteers for each state. If you would like to help, please contact us at

I am currently organizing a march at the capital building in Des Moines, Iowa, and am hoping to jumpstart a march at the capital building in Salem, Oregon. If you would like to participate, please contact me at

I recently received an email from the folks at the AWC (America’s Wrongfully Convicted) website enlightening me to another recent wrongful conviction which at first glance seems to have many similarities to Frank’s case.

Check it out and join up.

M.A.C.O.T.I – Mothers Against Conviction Of The Innocent

Tomorrow (Thursday, July 23rd) at 10 PM Eastern, the cable network Showtime will be airing an episode of the Emmy Award-winning series, Penn & Teller Bullshit!, that will debunk lie detectors: co-founder George Maschke is among those who were interviewed for this show, and we encourage all who can to watch or record the episode for later viewing. The show will also be re-broadcast several times in the week after it first airs.

Penn & Teller Bullshit!, which stars comedic magicians Penn Jillette and Teller, uses both facts and humor to lampoon popular fallacies (from a skeptical, anti-authoritarian, and libertarian point of view). Part of the show’s comedic style involves (liberal) use of profanity and (occasional) nudity, so you probable won’t want to watch this show with young children present.

A new message thread for discussion of this lie detector episode has been created here (and will be updated with a synopsis of the program after it airs):

Best regards,

George Maschke

America’s Wrongfully Convicted

Last week I stumbled across a website entitled "America’s Wrongfully Convicted." After informing them about Frank’s case they have graciously agreed to include Frank’s story on their site. Not only did they include it on their site, they put a memorial to Mike Francke on their homepage, and immediately went to work on a video that profiles Frank. Much thanks to those at the AWC website!
