Yes, for those of you who haven’t heard, he was laid off this past Monday, 12/15/08. Guess there won’t be a Francke murder 20th anniversary column after all.
I’m not surprised, and I doubt Phil was either. Matter of fact, I think he almost told me it was gonna happen when we talked back in August, around the time Dwight Jaynes left.
Took most of my free time the past couple of days, but I’ve got all the Trib Francke related articles copied and pasted into my own documents. Only a matter of time before the Trib is gone as well, and so much for my links to their articles. All the articles will still be available for viewing on the website. I’ve already begun the task of replacing the links.
Sometimes I just havta take myself back to that other time, and what seems like other life.

Francke Family Attorney Steven Krasik To Represent Woodburn Bank Bomb Suspect
Posted: December 16, 2008 in News ArticlesSalem attorney Steven Krasik who represents the Francke family on all matters related to the Michael Francke case, has been picked to represent Woodburn Bank bomb suspect Joshua Turnidge.
Turnidge, 32, was arrested in North Salem on Sunday on charges of manufacturing and possessing a destructive device, two counts of assault, conspiracy to commit aggravated murder, two counts of attempted aggravated murder and six counts of aggravated murder, according to the Marion County district attorney’s office.
I wonder how many people who frequent my blog and website thought Jonathan Rundy might turn up as a suspect. LOL!
Apparently there were a few according to JR’s recent bulk emailing.
