Body Found In Salem Death Investigation – Portland News Story – KPTV Portland

Well-well, look who shows up to comment to a Fox12 News reporter on this story…

SALEM, Ore. — Salem police recovered a body Wednesday in connection with an ongoing death investigation.

The body was found in a wooded area outside Salem on Wednesday, but police did not specify the exact location. The identity of the victim is unknown and police hope an autopsy will help identify the person and the manner of death.

The investigation began earlier this week when police received a report of a suspicious death in the 4000 block of Earle Avenue in northeast Salem.

On Tuesday, detectives searched an Earle Avenue home in connection with the death, but they haven’t released any other details about the case.

A neighbor said she’s often seen a large amount of people coming and going from the Earle Avenue house.

"One night, I counted the number of headlights I saw pull in and pull out and there were over 50 times …," said Lynne Studer, who lives nearby.

Anyone with information on the case is asked to call Salem police.

I think I’ll write this guy a letter while he’s locked up. Who knows what an Oregon DOC officer from 1976-1996 might have to say, especially under his current circumstances. Know what I mean?

Des Moines, Iowa Gas Prices

Posted: October 29, 2008 in Miscellaneous
It actually happened a couple of nights ago. Dropped below $2.00 as you can see. Never thought we’d see less than $3.00 per gallon again. Down to $1.95 today.

Greg Kellcy is still in the classification unit awaiting transfer to another prison within the same state he was sent to. Goin on about 100 days now. Inmates are usually shipped from classification within 30-45 days.

Greg mentioned writing a couple of letters to Nigel Jaquiss recently without a response. Nigel really should write him back. I mean, what up? Greg gave Nigel a story that garnered him over 200 comments, and more if he hadn’t had the comments shut down. LOL! Boy that was fun! I was dissappointed things didn’t pick up again when Nigel wrote that ridiculous second piece about Greg being transferred out of Oregon.

What a waste of space.

Sounds to me like one of Greg’s recent letters informing Nigel of his transfer was the sole inspiration for his article. Oh there was another as well. Anyone wanna take a stab at it? Pardon the pun.
Jodie is on the docket today in Circuit Court for what appears to be two seperate charges of possessing meth related to her recent bust. Information won’t be available until tomorrow.

Gearin up for another road trip. Fulton County, Georgia bound, then over to Myrtle Beach, SC to visit my sis again. Looks like my sister’s oldest boy(26) is gonna be a South Carolina prison guard. Been busy all week preparing and getting my musical playlist together for the drive. I just don’t do radio.

Time to kick it off with Fulton County’s own Jesse James Dupree and Dixie Inc.

Tough on Crime

Excuse me!
But tough on crime
Started back with “the rack”,
N’ the guillotine
Was a pretty tough act,
So was hanging rustlers
Where you found them at.
Territorial prisons
Chain gangs
The death penalty
With 50,000 volts of current,
Those were all tough
But apparently no deterrent.
N’ I’m afraid
“tough on crime”
Is fine
As a political line
But it didn’t work
Any other time…

My Real Sentence
Being ugly, is its own prison
Looking over a nose too long
Past a face ravaged by acne
At beauty and soft skin I will
Never touch.
I remember every
Face I longed to kiss, every
Romance that never happened,
Always settling for less and
Knowing there is no parole
from
Ugliness…
